A standard AC tune-up from our team includes:

  • Inspection of all electrical components. We check wiring, connections, capacitors, and controls to identify anything that could cause a failure or safety issue down the line.
  • Refrigerant level checks. Improper refrigerant levels are a leading cause of reduced cooling performance and compressor damage. We verify that levels are correct and look for any signs of leaks.
  • Coil cleaning. Both the evaporator and condenser coils are cleaned to remove dirt and buildup that restrict airflow and force your system to work harder than it should.
  • Condensate drain inspection. A clogged drain line can lead to water damage and humidity problems inside your home. We clear the drain and confirm it's flowing freely.
  • Thermostat calibration. We verify that your thermostat is reading and responding accurately so your system cycles the way it's supposed to.

After each visit, we'll go over our findings with you directly and let you know if anything needs attention now or in the near future; no pressure, just information!
